On 22 October 2021 Little Amal will be entering London through Deptford, Lewisham, the UK's first Borough of Sanctuary. Join us to celebrate her arrival and find out where she's headed for a weekend of welcoming across the city.
Overall, Little Amal will be making appearances across 12 locations, welcomed by cultural groups and organisations in London between the 22-25 October as part of The Walk, a travelling festival of hope created by Good Chance Theatre and Handspring Puppet Company. .

Somerset House, Sadler’s Wells/National Youth Dance Company, V&A, Roundhouse, St Paul’s Cathedral, Lewisham Council, Boy Blue, Westminster Cathedral and Landsec.
The Walk is a 4-month long 8,000 km journey made by Little Amal across Europe in search of her mother. Little Amal is a 3.5m tall puppet of a 9-year-old Syrian refugee girl. She began near the Turkey/Syria on 27 July 2021. So far, she has travelled through Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and France.
At this time of crises, her urgent message to the world is “Don’t forget about us”.
